The development project Meeting Place – Performing Arts and Landscape is both inter-artistic and interdisciplinary, and corresponds to the community through the focus on landscape and its people, both as co-creators and participants and as an audience. This can be linked to urban development processes and dialogues with citizens as well as rural development and cultural heritage.
In the artistic and pedagogical work in the project Meeting Place – Performing Arts and Landscape I focus on and explore how we can create a meeting place rather than a stage or a space, how we can create an event, an action rather than a performance, and how we can invite the people to be participants and co-creators rather than an audience or spectators. I also explore what happens if we look at the landscape and the people of the landscape as a unit, a totality.
