After his study psychology Huub de Vriend studied composition and music education at the Royal Conservatoire.
He became music teacher in secondary schools and realized several compositions in which pupils and students contributed
He is co-author of 'Intro' a method for music education in secondary schools. In this method - translated in english - one will find many composition and improvisation assignments though giving a great impetus to the development of musical creativity.
