Marco Monari - marco.monari@gmail.com - has a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Urbino. He worked for many years for the Department of Public Health in Bologna, where he participated in working groups in the environmental field and was the scientific manager of several courses. During his professional experience he has dealt with the soundscape of urban contexts and work milieus. He also published several articles and participated in conferences. His first publication dealing with noise in the workplace (Hygienic risk factors in bakery workshops) dates back to 1994. In 2013 he published his first volume, La piazza che non c’era. Ecologia urbana, paesaggio sonoro cognitivo, luoghi antropici del benessere (Aras). The volume deals with urban ecology and cognitive soundscape. In 2020 a second volume was released, Space Caring energie per abitare (Oakmond Publishing).
