I am a cultural sociologist working in performance research, acoustic ecology, and memory. As a trumpeter, I improvise with no-input feedback, laptops, field recordings, homemade mics and trumpet preparations. I've released solo albums on Polish label AudioTong and has written extensively on music, sound and listening. His next album ('Wonder Town' 2016) will appear on the Japanese imprint “Kolo” of Music for New Reference. Hagen is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
