Eva Strobel is an Architect, Urban Designer and Photographer.
Her interest lies with growth and decline of cities, and the relationship between political/economical systems and city form. Confronting the question for a future city after depletion, she seeks the utopian image that creates inspiration for planners and architects.
More recently, she engages into re-visiting cultural landscapes; how industries and other productive forms as a result of dis- and urbanization have become central to their aesthetic, and whether an ideological shift in perceiving those may give new content to modern economies.
Journalistic story-telling and visual depiction are supported by photography, writing and design.
