Paula Salas (1982) is a visual artist from Chile. She just finishined a MA in Artistic Research at the University of Amsterdam. Before, she studied a BA in Fine Arts at the University of Chile (PUC), where she also completed an academic certificate in Cinema Aesthetic. From the year 2006 she has been showing her work internationally in collective exhibitions and festivals like Art Amsterdam 2011, Visual Arts Museum MAVI 2008, Santiago; “BIOPODER”, 2010, Vértice Gallery, Lima; European Media Art Festival EMAF, 2009, Osnabrück; and International Contemporary Video Art Festival of Barcelona: BAC. Also, she has had a few solo shows like “Agua corriente”, Metropolitan Gallery, 2007, Santiago; and “Cochinilla”, Stuart Gallery, 2010, Santiago; “Brought by the Rivers”, Upominki, 2012, Rotterdam.
