She was born in Mexico city, there she was accepted to study in the High School of Music of Fine Arts getting the Bachelor’s degree studying with teachers Raúl Herrera and Ana María Tradatti

During all her career Cecilia has taken part in several competitions where her participation has been notable. She has got several prizes as soloist inside and outside her country and some honorable mentions and special prizes like the best interpretation of a Bach piece.

Also, she obtained the 1st, and the 3rd, prizes in the 2 most important Chamber Music Competitions from Mexico.

She has taken master clases and courses with several renowned pianists such as the “Wiener Meisterkurse” with Paul Badura-Skoda.

Since September 2008 she is studying with teachers Paul Komen and David Kuyken in the “Koninklijk Conservatorium” in The Hague, and have been an active musician, like with her soloist debut with an european orchestra in July of 2010.
