French double bass and violone player. He had his first opportunity to play with a band (the quintet "Lafé Bémé) at the secondary school of Marciac in 2001. Since this experience he had a lot of stage experiences in France, Nertherlands, Italy, Spain, Cape-Verde and in jazz festivals such as “Jazz in Marciac”, “Jazz à Vienne” or “Tudo é Jazz” in Ouro Preto in Brazil.

In 2008 he started studying at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Double Bass in May 2012. He is now enrolled in the Master program of the same conservatory where he is combining Jazz and Early Music studies.

In 2010, he creates his own octet "The Espluméor Chamber Ensemble" witch is the realisation of a compositional work as well as a research on the dimensions of space and time in music perception. This ensemble, composed by a string quartet featuring a baroque violin and a double bass, a flute, a guitar and percussions is the perfect opportunity to explore relations between written and improvised music and the combinations of timbres.

Jordi is already involved in several musical adventures:
66Whales, Alban Claret Trio, Lafé Bémé, Michto la Pompe, Rouge Nereid, Yaniv Schonfeld "Cadavre" project, MST octet & Benat Achiary, Bengalifère, Omega Impact, Kireji ...
