Mateus-Berr is an artist, scientist, social designer, habil. Univ. (Full) professor at the University of Applied Arts Vienna; Director of the Center for Didactics of Art and Interdisciplinary Education. The focus of her work is in the field of art, artistic research, (social) multisensual design research, interdisciplinary art and design education and topics of humanity, dementia, climachange, national socialism, Digital Humanism and well-being in the field of health. She received her PhD and Venia Docendi for design education; she has published all articles and books, won (artistic) research projects (FWF, FFG, WWTF, EU ...) and exhibits art and artistic research internationally.
