Polly Stanton is an moving image artist, sound practitioner and researcher. Her work investigates how cinematic forms document, reflect and shape human experiences of place and environment.

In addition to her art practice she has worked professionally in the film industry in post-production sound, teaches in sound art at RMIT University and lectures in video and audio production at Swinburne University. She is the co-director of the collaborative project Burrow and is currently a practice-led PhD candidate at RMIT's School of Art.
