Christos Marantos is a pianist and since 2023, he has been one of the researchers in the artistic research project 'Trans-bodied Knowledge' (funded by PEEK/FWF, AR 802-G), conducted by TU Wien in collaboration with the mdw. Christos is a doctoral candidate in the ARC at the mdw and a lecturer for piano in the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments at the mdw, as well as at the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School-Diakonie Education. In 2021, he became "Boesendorfer Artist".
