Kristine N. Slettevold works as perfomer, dance maker, teacher and choreographer. As a dancer she worked several years with the Norwegian company “Impure” and the choreographer Hooman Sharifi.  Since then she has been performing with choreographers and groups such as Cristina Caprioli, Eva Cecilie Richardsen, Örjan Andersson, Helena Franzén, Gunilla Heilborn, Malin Hellkvist Sellen, Juan Luc Ducort and  Human works. In 2008 she premiered her solo “duality of content” a solo focused on the gaze, the act of seeing and the play with illusion. The group piece “pfft/a forced exhalation of air” (2012) explored the idea of how sound make us move. How listening could produce movements. The act of listening. The piece was perfomed by Maria Öhman, Therese Markhus, Joanna Dudley, Jefta van Dinther and Ulrika Berg. Kristine has been teaching contemporary classes in the field since 2001. She has her education from School for Contemporary dance (Oslo) and Oslo National academy for the arts. In 2010, she was offered the position as Head of Program for the Dance and Performance studies at DOCH (University of Dance and Circus) Stockholm university of the arts where she is responsible for the Bachelor in Fine Arts for Contemporary Dancers.
