Raphaƫl Royer

Raphaël Royer (b. 1995) began playing classical guitar at the age of 8 with Pascale Pierri. Later on, his interest lead him into jazz and double-bass. He entered in the “Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood” in 2013 and will grew up musically with musicians of his generation and teachers such as Pierre Perchaud, Jean-Michel Charbonnel, Benoît Sourisse and André Charlier. He graduated three years later with first honor. During his years of playing in Paris, Raphaël had the occasion to be on stage with Alex Monfort Trio, Jérémy Hinnekens Trio, Marc Thomas, Yves Brouqui, Raphaël Imbert, among others. Raphaël is now studying a master in the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, which he will finished in June 2019.
