Ken Byers is a multi–media digital artist, from UK, and is influenced by art & science, cinema, contemporary philosophy, and current theoretical issues, in both arts and technology, in human machine interaction and embodiment. He has shown in both UK and Internationally in USA, Russia, Eastern and Western Europe. He has a Fine Art background in painting and drawing, and continued after his BA in Art/ Psychology/Sociology valididated by Lancaster University, to do an MA in Fine Art at University of Northumbria and MA in Media production (TV and Video) at University of Sunderland. His interests are in 3-D animation, sound performance and sound art, using open source technologies, programming and physical computing. He has shown work at Asia Siggraph 2012, ‘'Emerging Technologies Exhibition, 'Body-movement, pereption and consciousness in interactive audio-visuals installations. He is currently completing a PhD in Interaction: perception and consciousness and specialising in body-movement interactive audio-visuals.
