Ania Molenda is an architect, researcher and curator working within the field of architecture and its peripheries. Her work has spanned academia, an experimental think-tank and the architectural practice. She has worked as a researcher and teacher at The Why Factory (TU Delft, Faculty of Architecture) as well as designer at the architecture firms MVRDV, Powerhouse Company and SVESMI. She has been responsible for developing a number of successful curatorial concepts that led to exhibitions on an international level including MVRDV/The Why Factory’s contribution to the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale and BODW Hong Kong.

 

Ania is currently working on developing an independent research and curatorial practice focused on ways in which architecture and urban planning can be cross- fertilizedwith other disciplines to offer novel perspectives for the future. She is especially interested in the role aspects of openness and communication play in the spatial, cultural and technological realms.
