Petar Kufner graduated from University IUAV of Venice (Italy) – BSc in Architecture: Science of Architecture and a MA in Design: Visual Communication and Multimedia. In between his studies, Petar worked for several years in renowned architecture offices in Italy and Croatia as well as for Venice Biennale. During his postgraduate program in Transmedia: arts, media and design at the LUCA School of Arts, Campus Sint-Lukas Brussels, KU Leuven Association (Belgium), his main focus of research was the correspondence between aural and visual perception. With this interdisciplinary approach his interests are focused on graphics, video and design in its broadest sense but are always retraceable to architecture; an architectural environment combining art, technology and the social perspective. Through this spatial thinking, which combines both theory and design-based methods, he explores architecture across disciplinary borders.
