Brieley Cutting is a pianist specialising in chamber music and solo piano performance with wider interests in piano pegagogy, music research and the directing and producing of concert events and small festivals. She received her DMA from Griffith University in Brisbane (Australia), her practice-led research exploring the skills required of pianists who worked in small ensembles. The dissertation was written in conjunction with Brieley performing in numerous live performances as a pianist in the chamber music format, and alongside the production of four compact disc sound recordings featuring Brieley as the pianist in numerous chamber music ensemble combinations.

 - "I read the old dream slowly". An Australian music and art collection (2013). Seven world premiere recordings. Music for violin, viola, cello, clarinet, soprano, piano. 

 - "Flashpoint." Messiaen's "Quartet for the End of Time" and Hindemith's Quartet for clarinet, cello and piano (2013). 

- "Artico Ensemble". Community-based group. Music for clarinets, soprano and piano (2013).
