Inés was born in 1985 in Zaragoza (Spain), where she got in 2010 her Bachelor’s Degree on classical cello at the ‘Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón’. While she was studying at this school, she got happily inspired and influenced by its Early Music Department, receiving lessons from Silvia Márquez, Saskia Roures and Anna Margules. After finishing her degree, she understood that for becoming a more complete musician, she needed to specialize in Historical Performance Practice. Hence, she moved to The Netherlands to study Early Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium with Lucia Swarts. She got her Bachelor’s Degree last June 2013 and she is currently studying a Master’s Degree with Jaap ter Linden, and taking viola da gamba lessons from Mieneke van der Velden. As part of her Master’s studies, she is doing a research about cello pedagogy in Naples conservatories during XVIII century.

Since 2007 she has attended several early music academies, where she could learn and receive advice from Itziar Atutxa, Jaap ter Linden, Rainer Zipperling, Gaetano Nasillo and Balázs Maté. She has been a member of the Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra (UK) and ‘I Giovani della Montis Regalis 2013’ (Mondovì, IT).  She is a founder member of the ensemble Scaramuccia and the Duo Graziani.
