is a researcher focusing on the implications of technology on society. Having been involved with interdsiciplinary projects for over 20 years, she speaks a variety of professional languages. She has been initator, conceptualizer, producer and director of local, national and international work. In 2007 she wrote her PhD "Presence adn the Design of Trust", in which she analyzed 'networked events' (the Galactic Hacker Partyi 1989 and the Seropositive Ball in 1990 that happened in Paradiso Amsterdam. She currently works with internationally with professionals, academics and artists on Witnessed Presence. In 2013 she created the book "Witnessing You, on Trust and Truth in a Networked World". To this research project 13 artists contributed. The foreword was written by Manuel Castells. Caroline Nevejan is connected to the Partiipatory Systems Initiative at Delft University of Technology and she is a crown member of the Dutch Council for Culture and the Arts (cultuur.nl).
