BIO:
Inês Jorge was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1990. In 2011, she completed a degree in Art History at the New University of Lisbon, during which she participated in the ERASMUS Exchange Programme at Zaragoza, Spain and was an intern at the José Azeredo Perdigão Modern Art Centre of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. In 2012, she concluded a post-graduation in Contemporary Art at the Portuguese Catholic University. She is now developing her MA thesis on the relationship between craft and contemporary art. In the meantime, she has contributed to the production of exhibitions, to research and writing about artists, artworks and exhibitions, to inventorying and to the room assistance of art shows at several institutions. She wants to be a contemporary art curator.
