André (Nené) Alves
(neuroqueer).
I am a visual artist, educator and a writer.
For the past two decades my artistic work gravitated around possibilities and potentials of language-based approaches within the visual arts, the uses of drawing and artistic installations to discuss and promote inclusive practices around contemporary politics of attention.
My current research intersects aesthetic making and ecologies of the mind, with a particular focus on the adhd mind as means to deschool the modern-west colonial episteme.
