About this exposition

this research exposition will overview the history of hybrid materials from the first hybrid pigments created thousands of years ago to modern hybrid materials developed by the highest biotechnological sciences. the exposition aims to collect and present the existing knowledge about hybrid materials to prepare for a practical experiments with hybrid living materials. the exposition present the personal creative-technological experiments with hybrid materials while creating biodegradable art objects using only natural materials and primitive technologies. it will highlight the basic principles of biomimicry in design, which provide innovative solutions and full cooperation with nature, which is crucial in today’s context of ecological crisis. the final findings of this research will be applied for the continuous practical study and will aim to find new opportunities for collaborating with living cultures in our material world
