About this exposition

This visual essay reflects, through a haptic experience, on the ongoing wave of protests in Mozambique. These began with the death of rapper Azagaia in March 2023, continued through the municipal elections months later, and have since transformed into a nationwide revolt against electoral fraud, police violence, corruption, and the dominant Frelimo party. 📸 Thumbnail image: One of the symbolic coffins for Frelimo and its presidential candidate, Daniel Chapo, during the 2024 demonstrations in Maputo.
