Patrice Boileau is a young and dynamic trumpet and cornetto player from Saint-Georges de Beauce, Québec (Canada). After finishing his Artist Diploma in orchestral performance at The Glenn Gould School, Patrice moved to Europe for his love of early music. He is currently completing a master in baroque trumpet at the Royal conservatoire in The Hague with Susan Williams and having cornetto lesson with Marleen Leicher in Antwerp.

 

As a freelance musician, Patrice has performed with several group in eastern Canada, such as the Orchestre symphonique de Québec, Quebec City’s opera house, National Academy Orchestra, Sinfonia Toronto, the Sneak Peak Orchestra and the True North Brass. His passion for early music brought him to play with North American ensemble: Musica Viva Orchestra, Tallisker Player as well as European one: Brabantsch Musyk Collegie, Elbipolis Barockorchester, The New Dutch Academy, The Wallfisch Band, Apollo Ensemble, Il Gardellino, et Les Agémens. In his free time, Patrice is a foodie and he swims in a  club.
