Helene Berg is an artist and animator who uses moving images as instruments and building blocks for spatial installations and stage-based collaborations.
Her work is characterized by an interest in the dynamics of movement and how elements such as repetition, pause, direction, or glitches in a flow affect an expression. Her creations often take the form of live visuals, experimental films, and collaborations with musicians, and she has a particular fondness for loops.
She has studied mime and moving image at institutions including Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH) and the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, and also holds a bachelor's degree in Art History at Uppsala University. She operates her practice through her company Create Motion 123.
