"Backpack" is a wearable sculpture. It was fabricated in 2002 and used for the first time that same year on the occasion of Guillermo Gómez-Peña's and Pocha Nostra's performative event "Apocalypse Mañana", held at the Mission/Badlands Gallery, in San Francisco.
