Creature
I activated this knit to go outside and let it play in the snow. I focussed on the different forms and expressions the textile can transform into. It can take different shapes because of the different elements in the work, for example, the floats.
By letting it play in the sunny weather the shadow of the knit became visible in the snow. The sun brought out the contrast between the transparency and the opacity, which was also visible in the shadow.
In the stop-motion video, the knit looks like a creature that tries to fly.
