Combination

Interesting in the outcome is the graphical surfaces and lines in combination with the less static material forms and the organic shapes and textures such as the moss and the flower leaves.

Something I will take from this to develop further is to incorporate different materials into knitting to see if I can achieve this same overflow in organic and graphical and the use of 3D elements such as the moss, trash, and findings to emphasize on 2D to 3D in other materials.

Drawings

I recreated the knits from the technical course into drawings. The knits have 2D to 3D parts in them where it looks like the 2D knit is growing into a 3D bulge. By drawing the knits I made the work 2D again.

3D collaging

In contrast to the 2D drawings I worked on 3D collages in transparant layers to recreate the my work in different materials. I reused trash and nature elements and connected them. Furthermore I layered the different sheets on top of each other.
