About documentation.

It proved very difficult to make a truthful documentation of the project, since the hall was big, there was large projections of the visual art, there were musicians and audiences spread out in the room, and that it had to be quite dark for the video to be seen.

There were different experiences for each audiencemember and each musician because we were all spread out and moving.

There was a high degree of improvisation and the performance would look different every night, like the sky is never the same.

The poem sung by the singers in the 5 voice Choral,

written by Hilmar Thordarson and Halldis Rønning

In Icelandic (original language)

Þögul tréin blakta í golunni

Tifandi hjarta

Hrjúfir og mjúkir steinar í fjörunni

Gljáfagurt svartlitað yfirborð

Glitrar sem frostrós í óravídd heimsins

English translation:

Silent trees flutter in the soft wind

A trembling heart

Rough and soft stones on the shore

shining black surfaces

glimmer like a frozen rose in the vastness of the world
