.:LINGUISTICS & DEFINITION // CONCENTRIC CYCLES/CIRCLES:.
- concentric circles are circles, arcs, or other shapes which share the same centre
- In geometry, two or more objects are said to be concentric when they share the same center.
- defined as two or more circles with a common center.
- The ripples formed by dropping a small object into still water naturally form an expanding system of concentric circles. Evenly spaced circles on the targets used in target archery or similar sports provide another familiar example of concentric circles.
- The larger often completely surrounding the smaller.
- Concentric describes something, like circles, that have a common center
- Concentric is from the latin word concentric, - from com (“together”) plus centrum (“center” or “circle”). So, concentric things have a center in common.

.:LINGUISTICS & DEFINITION: CIRCULATION/CIRCUIT/CURRENT:.
CIRCULATION
- flow
- orderly movement through a circuit
- the movement of blood around the body (the movement of blood through the vessels of the body that is induced by the pumping action of the heart and serves to distribute nutrients and oxygen to and remove waste products from all parts of the body)
- passage or transmission from place to place
CIRCUIT
- a boundary around an enclosed space
- a moving or revolving around
- the complete path of a current
CURRENT
- the part of a fluid body (such as air or water) moving continuously in a certain direction
- movement in a particular direction
- the swiftest part of a stream
- a tidal or nontidal movement of lake or ocean water
- flow marked by force or strength
- a tendency or course of events that is usually the result of an interplay of forces(currents of public opinion)
- a prevailing mood
- a flow of electric charge (also : the rate of such flow)
- implies a clearly defined but not necessarily unalterable course.

INTRODUCTION
The CYCLE & the CIRCULATION are vast symbols with a tremendous body of anthropological knowledge and manifests a wide association pool in diverse cultural contexts. They are sacred symbols and describe aspects which are part of natural processes and creation itself. There are so many gateways one can take, so many different positions and perspectives to obtain, so much inspiration to acquire from this phenomenon.
Over and over they orbit into our experience, spanning from scientific- to mystical language, their interpretation & discovery.
My intention with this reflective text and documentation is to share my own explorative currents, my own circulations with you, specifically how it changed my perspective on the research process per se and how it continually inspires me to drop into the present moment and to leave behind the linearity of time.
