Hello! My name is Janne, I'm a performer and artistic researcher. My work is based on movement research, that explores the individual sensorial body to the collective urban body. I work with improvisation and imagination methods to combine movement with text material, light and sound in choregrahic compositions that invite my audience to a reality of shared vulnerability, of resistance and of beauty, that is poetic and political at the same time.
I have an international Master's degree in Performing Public Space (NL) and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice (GER). In 2025 I took part in FAICC - Intensive Course in Interpretation and Choreography by Instável - Choreographic Centre in Porto and since 2020 I'm part of the artistic direction of PELE, where I develop artistic interventions in community contexts in Porto. I also facilitate workshops that explore participatory practices, instant compositions and radical tenderness as a performative intervention in public space.
