Synopsis
Because other than ice
which takes longer to melt the more it is
human bodies generate more warmth
the closer they get
MELT IN SIGHT is about melting inside and sharing this process with others.
This performance invites the audience to dive into a poetic fabric of sound, movement and scenography. Two bodies that move through a landscape of ice, trying to find connection in unlikely conditions.
MELT IN SIGHT is an exploration of how to find strength in vulnerability and community.
Working with the concept of “Radical Tenderness“ this artistic research raises questions of togetherness and distance in our contemporary social environment. It is an exploration of how the knowledge that our bodies hold can help us to find alternative ways of resistance and strengthen the bonds between each other.
