Synopsis
Bonsoir, bonsoir, voilà, bonsoir. So, I asked myself, how should I start and then I thought to myself, well I start with the simplest. So, it is about light, chasing the light, well, a particle of light, it is about a photon. Did you already touch the light? It is about this moment, when it all begins, this first intuition. Well, it is about many things but don’t worry. Projections, shadows looking for light and surprise, poetry. Running after poetry.

Project description
We started with the idea of creating a dramaturgy from text material as well as from the following research questions:
- How can we build our poetic clown?
- How can we combine clown techniques with contemporary dance?
- How can light and movement be connected poetically?
- How can the use of light choreograph the body and the body the light?
Our piece shows the result of our research regarding the questions how we can combine clowning with contemporary dance and how we can choreograph the light.
The piece was premiered in July 2025 at Teatro Campo Algre in Porto, Portugal and got invited to Encontrarte Festival in Amares, Portugal.
