Processing knowledge//paper

Thinking about knowledge - how knowledge is developed, distributed and consumed - we decided to make new paper from a collection of post-it notes and notes on bigger paper. In addition to books discarded from the library.

The new papers were used as surfaces to engrave and cut out keywords and thoughts that developed in the conversations throughout the course.

Reflecting on the paper-making process it can also be viewed as a physical representation of knowledge as something that develops circularly; knowledge is distributed - knowledge is broken down and consumed - knowledge is developed from what was consumed - and in turn it is distributed. Nothing is new - everything is based on something else.
