This artistic research questions the existence between "being and Sein" mainly, that is philosophical contemplation and also for exploring ethics in arts (Arts and Humanities) practically.

"Silence surrounds us" is for being in an environment (in a real space).

And "Silence around us" is for Sein in an internet environment (in a virtual reality (space)).

Silence surrounds us, and silence around us.

Myths of everyday life

Human right in today's society, actually we don't need to be "queer", we are all queer and individual. We can live naturally, to be natural of each being (from the aspect of biology. – Genetic aspect.).

Human relationship

Also from the aspect of neuroscience, "touch" is an important subject for the human intelligence profoundly.

We recognize in the relationships and experience in the environment.

I agree with "penetration" in Jean-Luc Nancy's. "Intervention" as meaning of the word includes (including meaning of) "observation". What he mentioned in his lecture, "penetration" is at the state of organic level.

And also "Sensetion of Skin", that is lack in the virtual reality.

I don't believe in this dualistic expression of "being" and "non-being". Because "being" does not mean "presence", even if you were not registered in the digital society, your "being" is yours, and my "being" is mine. I think that AI (non-human) is also in "being", because of AI's owner. If people use "non-being" as term religiously, it might be dangerous, that it would overlap with the non-human.

Pictorial sculpture is informational, my artistic approach in virtual reality (Space), I would like to express time without expression by/in animation, but rather in the sentence.(Metaphor of Time and Body)

Artistic research as knowledge, I can start to deal with the British method of philosophical and aesthetical analysis, but it's up to in which context. I think that is the British philosophical tradition. Nevertheless, today, there are many imitations of it, so I cannot define which one is the British philosophical research tradition ontologically.

In the deconstruction, which refers to platonism is subjectivity, which is not the same as the account of idealism, For example in the fine arts, in the work of artists, in the composition of John Cage, the photography of Andy Warhol, ..., and so on. In the fact, they (artists) had deconstructed the account of idealism and its ideology in the 20th century.

Why non-object sculpture is? Because there is no physical materials and impossible to develop the art technique to depict Space and Time as well as Society in today's science. It becomes an alloy when it can be stored other than natural materials. For instance, for NAS space development. Is it necessary to stick to substances up for the sculpture?

The works of art as artifacts that remain in history come from scientists, they were today's medical scientists and also the scientists of NASA.

As an artist, I did not present my artwork via zoom and not for performance and practical workshop via zoom. I think that I don't use zoom for artistic performance. I use the zoom only for the communication.

I would like to research and explore "freedom of expression in ethics and asthetics of the digital age (what is it?), which medium is global and for the streaming. There is an international conference in the scope of the program by the Society for Aesthetics this summer.

Therefore I research and explore from two different perspectives (Western language and Non-Western Language/Japanese) and two different paths (Auditory and Visual seeing-in) parctically and theoretically.

with performing artists generally, because they have a really strong ego centrally to attract other people's attention.

Why are performing artists so primitive without choreography? Because they have no metaphor and they think that its state is the natural being (of them), or maybe they think that is human nature. It belongs to the Eastern art education in the communist countries in the EU, because "encoding in arts" as well as bi-linguistic expression, they call "Spy", was banned, they are been banning the minority languages all over the world. Thereby political issues are "freedom of expression". So that human nature is the ego-central expression by the Eastern art in the communist countries/the EU, that calls resistance. Germany is the mecca of Eastern art in the communist countries/the EU even today under the Western law of "freedom of expression". The Western modernists, who speak the language, which they cannot understand, are all spy or under the level of knowledge. I know the artistic research in the EU currently, it is the subject for deconstructing. One of the important subject of the conference of the artistic research in the EU. Because they started to kill the EU minority culture.

I attended a lecture who presented her artwork via ZOOM. The subject was "knowledge" that she was writing a letter to tree, it was a poetic performance video.
I am thinking about the tree as an object, how I percive.

My aspect of sculpture: A deconstruction of high art metaphysically.

such as Oskar Schlemmer, his using way of material is poor, if I compare with another artist in another culture parallelly, e.g. Italian artist Alexander Calder. We can see in Oskar Schlemmer's artwork, Also in Germany, it was really poor economically. In General, people in Germany had not to chance to use the material for the artwork in everyday life, the material was only for the product. Only two Architects and Klee, they worked on between of things. Without this, "things" will be condensed. However, it can be said that it was a time when "crystalized" war aesthetic mentally.

They (Bauhaus Artists) were attempting to overcome poverty with a new sense of life and intellect. For the new life, they conceptualised the new education of design which based on Fine arts, and have established the Bauhaus.

In Arab, it was opposed, they used gold, marble, and various colour pigments.

Because of the deal of oil with the Arab countries, German idealism was reinforced. Thereby what the German Nazi did, to create Fake Artwork (high art) such as in the Netherland. Therefore, in Europe, if German artists dominate, other European will get angry.

-> The research aim is on Creativity from the perspective of the 21st century for the art education of the new generation in artistic research, which relates to my artistic research practically.

The meaning of "Fashion" in English involves a sort, a kind, which word has been misreading.

I wrote "Art is fashion", which means that Art is a sort, therefore I mentioned that art is not ideal in the sentences. Art is something, and we would know "something".
Painting is an art medium, thereby question is in the content which consists of the art material and artistic techniques. This content, we will perceive visually.

Sound composition Vol. 1 in Zwischenleigend – non-calculable time, space and body, I expressed in the artistic research, that I described this sound piece at the end of the composition.
What I broke the whole of composition aesthetically, that is the recorded bird in the composition, I composed artificially, as an attendant at the beginning position and the end position in this composition. it was for the listeners a strange artificial expression, what it means in this composition, yes, about the climate change (attention to the environment, as well as by non-human in the society). Human voices (Interviews) were O-ton (original sound), in contrast to artificial sound and sound composition.

In my opinion, what we listen to the sound of the bird is a filtered sound aesthetically, the bird is not just symbolic romantically and beautiful. What birds tell us, was attention from another world in this sound composition, but it was double meaning. I broke "Sehnsucht" nach Vergangenheit (longing for the past) up, but rather to bring the attention to the future. This composition consists of the aspect of critical theories towards today's commecial strategy with sound effect as emotional affection. (question for digital sound aesthetic)

Solarize-ing Native hip-hop: Native feminist land ethics and cultural resistance

Jenell Navarro

California Polytechnic State University

Abstract

In this article I focus in-depth on what constitutes cultural resistance within the genre of Native Hip-Hop. Rather than examining multiple songs and artists I have chosen to focus on one recent Native hip-hop song titled “Solarize” which was created in 2013 through United Roots Oakland (a youth center for green arts and media) by Desirae Harp (Mishewal Wappo Tribe of the Alexander Valley), Fly50, and SeasunZ. I argue that the collective work in this song moves us closer to developing a Native feminist land ethic which privileges living with the land rather than over the land; and, at the level of praxis, their song builds alliance with, rather than isolation from, Black communities. Therefore, the song represents the productive move of employing what Audra Simpson and Andrea Smith have called “theoretical promiscuity” through hip-hop music and culture.

Keywords: hip-hop studies; Indigeneity; cultural studies; environmental ethics; feminism

"Additionally, these lyrics function as more than a simple introduction to the song—they are also used as a hook throughout the song for Indigenist emphasis and narrative cohesion. However, Harp sings these lyrics in Wappo rather than in English throughout the remainder of the song. As a result, the use of Wappo in “Solarize” moves the theoretical foundations of the song beyond Native language recovery and offers another intelligibility to this space as it subtly, yet powerfully, opposes the military and imperial history and negative effects of Mare Island on Native communities. In short, weaving these Wappo lyrics through the song as a hook symbolizes a rootedness in a Native worldview expressed by Harp that seeks to give new/different life to the island. Importantly, as Leanne Simpson (2004) has argued, the speaking and teaching of Indigenous languages is a vital anticolonial strategy and highly connected to Traditional Ecological Knowledge (p. 373-378). These visual and sonic representations, along with the Indigenous Knowledge announced, are integral and foundational to the entire song and video."

The following application is the research in aesthetics and philosophy such as in Kant's context, which relates also in phenomenology, (In Germany, the renowned researcher is e.g. Dr Birgit Recki, which research I follow, because I was an active member of the GEDOK for 10 years long, I could not ignore her research.), which requires also the research for us (artistic researcher) the member of the SAR, for exploring the method of artistic research. Thereby, I think that my attitude as an artistic researcher and an independent artist for the artistic research as the study is not wrong.

"The European Society for Aesthetics / 'CfP:  MORAL ART: Is art allowed to be moral?

(ZÄK)'

The Zeitschrift für Ästhetik und Allgemeine Kunstwissenschaft (ZÄK), founded in 1906 by Max Dessoir and re-founded in 1966, is one of the oldest peer-reviewed journalsfor aesthetics and the theory of art. In its 67th year, it addressesthe relationship between art and morality. We welcome original contributions on two complementary topics that analyse the relationship between art and morality: from the perspective of artistic production and from the perspective of the reception of art.

ISSUE 67/1 ∙ 2022 MORAL ART: Is art allowed to be moral? (Deadline: 31 December

2021)

Is art allowed to be moral? Or must art be evil: immoral, shocking, offensive?

The first issue will lay a special focus on the relationship between art and morality with regard to the production of art.

What would it mean for art to be moral? That in itself is an unanswered question. But as difficult as it is to answer, it seems to be clear to many of the art world’s stakeholders that art has the right to be immoral. Ever since Baude-laire’s Fleurs du Mal, it even seems as if art must be evil and immoral if it does not want to appear affirmative, boring, unattractive, or embarrassingly moralistic.

Can art only fulfil its mission if it provokes the moral feel-ings of many people? Or does the demand that art should not bow to the prevailing morality, but should disturb and devalue it, fail to recognise the nature of art and the way it affects people? Does it possibly even underestimate the potential impact of moral art and the contribution it can make to improving social conditions?

If art is allowed to be moral: What does this mean for artists and for art production? Is it possible to produce art that deserves to be called “moral”—and if so, how? Are there criteria to which artists can orient themselves if they want to produce moral art? Or does the moral character of art depend above all on how it is commented on and situated by those who produce it?"

Leanne Betasamosake Simpson is a renowned Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg scholar, writer and artist, who has been widely recognized as one of the most compelling Indigenous voices of her generation. Her work breaks open the intersections between politics,  story and song—bringing audiences into a rich and layered world of sound, light, and sovereign creativity.

Artistic research is a new type of the Study of Art. Art in "study", which is no a product for sale, is a kind of practical case study.

For example, in artistic research, "moral and immoral" is a study toward Moral or Ethics. It does not mean "If the art is moral or immoral.", that is impossible in artistic research as Study through art.

The artistic researcher can explore e.g. "Fake" practically or "Sex appeal" practically, which might be possible as an Artifact. But, it is impossible to explore "How to" make a Fake. or "How to" create Sex appeal in the artistic research. (In original Kant's account, almost "everything" is a Fake by the computer today, e.g. in the photography using the computer software. A solution is thereby, which is categorised in the graphic. So, a question "Have you ever lied in your life?" is equivalent to the question through Kant's account. Thereby the questions are such as "What is Lie?" and "What is "truth?", which action (including dealing) or behaviour only by Human(s). In other words, the important question is for the creativity by Human(s).)

In the Art Market, there are many problems, because people learn the art with the "How to" method of creation, which art is as a product for sale, and which method is criminal historically.

In the artistic research of artistic techniques, it might be possible to explore technical Know-How in art, which means explore Artistic Material, Artistic Medium, and Artistic techniques etc., which is most general artistic research for a new art educational materiality in a philosophical sense. (System-exploring)

I explore between philosophical account (common) and artistic account (personal) concerning through (new) Artistic Material, (new) Artistic Medium, and (new) Artistic techniques etc. in the social context practically, towards recent Knowledge in Aesthetics, for a new art educational in the context of liberal arts. (Content-exploring)

Artistic research and Philosophy: I study analytic philosophy even if I research in continental philosophy. For me, that is only "account", that is the same in Japanese philosophy, which is not for belief. Today's philosophy is in Anthropology.

The study of music in modernism terms in philosophy of religion, which research is also in the scientific aspect today, such as artistic research in music (romanticism), which guide line is on Kant's, and research questions towards high technology and human life. (Art without computer, Hand-Writing, e.g. Cage (also his composition "Ryoanji".)

Currently, I explore in Variation II for the Joint Artistic Research with the composer Valerio Sannicandro, therefore I transform his research context in music into the context of liberal arts for a new format.

-> I had a Japanese friend in Paris, that an acquaintance who studied abroad in the French literature department of the Paris Sorbonne University in the 1980s and married a classmate of her friend's French Congo (Republic of Congo) in 1990 had two children. Her husband eventually returned to his homeland, the French Congo, to rebuild politics, and she raised her child alone in Paris. She had a lot of trouble raising her child by herself.( Racism (mentality and bureaucracy in Japan, Asia and France, Europe and conservatisms in French Congo, Africa.) Her children had three nationalites and cultures (France, Japan and French Congo (Republic of Congo)). Today, I think that they had to choose their nationality, they are not triple nationalities holders. However, they are triple cultural (three continents) identity(es) holders. They are not artist, they study in the academy. So, I wish for Africa, and I will able to become old with peace of mind.

"SIMULTANEOUS RELAYING AS

A TRANSFORMATIVE MODE OF ARTISTIC RESEARCH THAT PRESERVES DIVERSITY AND INDIVIDUALITY"

I questioned for an artist, what she answered my question, "there is no pure Individuality, rather "superimposed", thereby what I thought about,
- (Subjective) Identification in biology
- Identity and Personality (in the subject of individuality)

However, my question was different.

Also Artist said "I did not know, that I answered Erika's question.". I understood thereby her answer that was her central thema in her project. It was the gap between identity and personality in her individuality. My question was "May I understand as your individuality in (...)?"

SIMULTANEOUS RELAYING AS A TRANSFORMATIVE MODE,

I understood the events by and between the artistic (multi-)media and the object(s), its gap between subjectivity and objectivity at the presentation by artists and Q&A. Then, I questioned duo artists collaboration on individuality, how can I see this subject in your artwork? Because their presentation was already an art product by duo artists collaboration. Therefore, the second artists commented, that they wanted to present their artistic research as a product.

If the subject of individuality would be so cheap, then we would lose our Human-being and its property in the digital society, in other words, artists in the young generation want to delete it (the property of the olders).

Psychological orientation: Psychological orientations are composed of the following component orientations: cognitive, motivational, moral, and action. It is hypothesized that there is a strong tendency for a fit between the type of social relation and type of psychological orientation.

What is an identification?
an act or instance of identifying; the state of being identified. something that identifies a person, animal, or thing: He carries identification with him at all times. ... a process by which one ascribes to oneself the qualities or characteristics of another person.

What does subjective mean in biology?
subjective. Pertaining to or perceived only by the affected individual, not perceptible to the senses of another person. Origin: L. Subjectivus.

Why computer music was termed as pure music, it was towards the term of pure music of "immateriality" in modernism. In the production of computer music without sound source, it might be possible to be termed as pure music from the aspect of physics. It related to the term of sifting in science.

Actually, immateriality of "pure music" in modernism was literary meaning (it was called "imagination" at that time philosophically. Today, it is in philosophy of religion.), but "pure music" in computer music as immateriality is the sound synthesis through sine wave, that is real in universe (representation (artificial expression) by the matematical fact). Only limited frequence, we Human can listen through the vibration of air. Theoretically, it is simlar to "light" in the photography. (Today is in philosophy of science, philosophy of nature.)

Maybe AI can find the solution, as well as for the discussion of the research method.
