On Oct. 6, 2015, the choreographer Marlene Monteiro Freitas premiƩred at Zodiak, Helsinki, her latest creation, "Jaguar". Running for around two hours, with the two performers - Marlene Freitas and Andreas Merk - always on stage and including such modern monuments as Schoenberg's "Transfigured night" and Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring", the piece is a tour de force and a remarkable achievement. However, it rouse the irritated reaction of the reviewer of the reference Helsingin Sanomat, that literally lost his nerve. The show and its mechanisms, aspects of the choreographer's aesthetics, major musical aspects and structural dispositions of the HS article are discussed in this research presented as a letter.
