I’m an architect, artist, and researcher investigating the communicative potential of materials and their role in fostering collaboration. Born in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, in 1981, I earbed a degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto in 2006, followed by a Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the same university in 2021.
Between 2004 and 2022, I collaborated with various architectural teams, including Atelier Peter Zumthor, Vinagre & Côrte-Real, Immopo Studio, Fahr 021.3, and Hethnomodern, as well as working independently as a freelancer.
Currently, I’m an FCT fellow in the doctoral program in Art Education at Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (i2ads/FBAUP/2022.09894.BD, Portugal).
