Niccolò Angioni (IT) is a versatile trumpet player, composer, and arranger based in The Hague, Netherlands. Starting piano at age 6 and trumpet at 11, he completed his classical studies in Florence before discovering his passion for jazz and improvised music. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Niccolò is now finalizing his Master’s in Jazz Composition, where he explores innovative approaches to composition with live visuals. His talent has earned him recognition as the winner of the Just Jazz Contest 2023 (NL) and commissions from Gaudeamus (NL) and Metropole Orkest (NL). He has also been a finalist twice at the Barga Jazz Competition for Arrangers (IT) and at the Black Pencil Prize 2023 (NL).
