Angelina EngelsThis thesis describes the process of implementing the instrumental teaching program according to the principles of the PI program in a primary school. This study is undertaken in the second year of implementing the project after a rather difficult start in the first year of initiating the PI program. The research uses a case study approach with interviews as a main source of data. Even though the popularity of instrumental projects in primary school increased significantly since funding’s for music education from the government, there is very little research in this field. This research offers a deeper understanding about the implementation process of an instrumental teaching program and the issues one encounters along the way.
