Rosalie Ravensteijn is based in Amsterdam. She studied Artistic Research and received her Master of Arts (MA) in 2013 from the University of Amsterdam and her BA in Fine Arts in 2009 at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam.

During her study Artistic Research she mainly focused on the lecture performance as format for her artistic research practice, which resulted in the lecture performance If Life Gives You Lemons (2012). Thereby she wrote a thesis in which the application of the Concept of Tacit Knowledge for Artistic Research as Knowledge Production is discussed.

The title is an adapted and merged version from the title of my thesis On Appliance of the Concept of Tacit Knowledge for Artistic Research as Knowledge Production and the title of my artistic research practice If Life Gives You Lemons. In this exposition I propose the production of Tacit Knowledge according to the Action Survey (1) as described by Harry Collins as fruitful tool for the evaluation of Artistic Research.
