Demetrio Schintu is a vibraphonist, composer and percussionist. He began his musical journey at age 8 with flute, later switching to drums and classical percussion. After school diploma in “F. A. Bonporti” Conservatory and High Music School (Trento, Italy), he got admitted to the Bachelor course, graduating in “Strumenti a Percussione” in 2022 with Sergio Torta. He then moved to The Hague (Netherlands), where he started his Bachelor in “Jazz Vibraphone” with Miro Herak in the Royal Conservatoire, graduating in 2024. Currently in his “Jazz Vibraphone” Masters, he studies vibraphone with Miro Herak and composition with Claudio Jr De Rosa.
