Julieanna Preston’s research spans architecture, art and philosophy. She has delivered live art performances and lectures in Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, Sweden, Great Britain, and the United States and published widely in journals and books. She received a BARCH from Virginia Tech (1983), MARCH from Cranbrook Academy of Art (1990) and a PhD from RMIT (2013). Recent works include breath-taking at RE:Sound/ Media Art History (Denmark, 2019), Vital Tones at Voice and the Unknown (Sweden, 2018), four castings (Performance Research: On Writing and Performance 2018), murmur (Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK 2017), and Performing Matter: interior surface and feminist actions (AADR 2014). www.julieannapreston.space
