The search for the ideal language of expression. The search through lines, dashes, blurs, shadows, blurs of utopian reality - a substitute image or a fragment close to the imagined ideal.
Exploration of spatial relations through drawings, sketches, models in 1:10 scale.
The language of drawing built on impressions and emotions, strongly grounded in the artist's introverted space.
Through drawings, sketches visual naming of the inner world filled with peace, silence, solitude. Reflecting on an ideal but undefined space.
Confronted with Mark Rothko's formula - a recipe for a work of art:
“The recipe of a work of art – its ingredients – how to make it -the formula.
Sensuality. Our basis of being concrete about the world. it is a lustful relationship to things that exist.
Tension.
Either conflict or curbed desire.
Wit and play…for the human element.
The ephemeral and chance…for the human element” (M.Rothko’s „Address to Pratt Institute”, November, 1958)

A project carried out during an unexpected hospital stay.
In July 2023, I settled for two weeks in the center of my city, however, in a completely new location.
Each day I walked around the hospital grounds and drew a grid of connections, which I crossed by changing the direction of my walk.
The work is a dual record. A photographic record of uncovered details in the slabs of concrete paths and serpentine slopes. A record of the path traversed during walks.
Without a script but by recreating the ground plan and the route traversed.
Transformation of rural landscape – countryside.

The aim of the research project is to analyze the rural ( presently suburban) countryside - landscape in a broad-range context.
The research is based on a collection of comparative images representing changes in the landscape, the displacement or loss of values that constitute the unique character of the rural landscape in selected areas.
The aim is to make a comparative analysis, to indicate the transformations taking place in the space - suburban landscape - landscape under the influence of the development of the economy, construction, changes in customs and culture.
