Naked Monologue

Through a very personal lens, this project, "Naked Monologue," examines the
relationship between intimacy, vulnerability, and self-perception. It explores the
disjointed, late-night thoughts of a young woman laying in bed with an
unidentified lover—a situationship that wavers between connection and
detachment—and is influenced by Chantal Akerman's minimalist filmmaking. The
film conveys ephemeral moments of youth, nostalgia, and the longing need for
emotional nakedness through the use of static framing, muted pink tones, and
emotive monologue.
