Art is influenced by environment, but how does environment influence the artist? How do these two play together to create a different experience.
In this study, I tested an artist that made artwork in a public facing environment, using chalk, vs on an ipad. Subject was told he would be throwing away the second piece of art on the ipad.
Both experiments lasted 5 minutes, and the prompt was the same. The controls were: prompt, artist, and time.
