Rosemary Lee is an artist and theorist working between a variety of fields. Lee's sculptural approach can be seen to influence as much her writing as installations, thinking through structures and using poetic concepts to shape materiality. Graduating with an M.A. with Distinction from the Division of Media and Communication at the European Graduate School (2012), and receiving a B.F.A. with Honors, emphasis in Fiber and Material Studies, from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2008), Rosemary Lee's artwork and writing have been presented internationally in exhibitions, conferences, residencies, and publications related to art, theory, and politics. She has recently completed the Vilém Flusser Residency for Artistic Research, working together with transmediale and the Vilém Flusser Archive, UdK Berlin.
