Excellent communication and writing skills, and a lifelong passion for art, words and stories. Trained and active as a visual artist, curator and educator, with exhibitions worldwide.

In a practice-based PhD at the Royal College of Art in London, my research focuses on shelter and its various synonyms relating to health, home, loneliness and otherness, exploring how stories can invoke empathy through their expression of physical, emotional or relational needs. Investigating relationships between visual, written and spoken language and their relative potential for storytelling, I engage methodologies within creative writing and visual art by which to share stories of struggle and hope.
