Linde Ex is a visual artist, artistic researcher and teacher. She lives and works in Groningen, the Netherlands. In January 2020 she won the George Verberg Grant. She has a BA in Art Education and a MA in Visual Art and Design. Currently, she works as an artistic PhD student at the University of Groningen and the Hanzehogeschool, Groningen, the Netherlands.
Linde is interested in other-than-human perspectives in an ecological context. Her work process can be described as a series of attempts to explore and create connections and understandings between humans and more than human others.
Linde works from a broad research approach. She often works with other art disciplines and scientists who stimulate her to consider different perspectives. Because the research process is central, the final works she creates differ in outcomes. Her work includes videos, installations, drawings and books.
