  • Meditating with Handel in the Studio (last edited: 2023) author(s): Mark Tatlow This exposition is in progress and its share status is: visible to all.
    A first version of my first "Assaggio," in which I look at a movement of Handel's cantata "Ah che pur troppo è vero" (HWV 77) written c. 1707/1709. As the singer meditates on the loss of his lover, I meditate on how this cantata can be sung today.
