Tatjana Macić is a visual artist, writer, and researcher. In her artistic practice, she is mostly exploring the intersection between visual arts, theory, exhibition-making, education, and language. She studied art at the AKI Academy of Art and Design, and got her Master’s degree from the University of Amsterdam, where she wrote a thesis about curating, politics and innovation. Tatjana Macić is currently teaching Artistic Research at the Bachelor Fine Arts, and tutoring the Exhibition Research Lab at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague. Together with Maarten Cornel, she leads Research & Discourse, a mandatory course for the first-year students of all bachelor departments at the Royal Academy of Art.
